Blackened Salmon Fillet

4         ea         6-8 oz portions of salmon fillets
2         Tbsp      Butter- melted
1/2      C          Spice Union Blackening Spice Blend


  1. Preheat a cast iron pan to high heat.

  2. Brush both sides of the salmon fillets with the melted butter.

  3. Dredge the salmon fillets in Spice Union Blackening Spice Blend. 

  4. Cook the salmon for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the salmon is barely cooked through.

  5. Serve with sautéed seasonal vegetables and rice scented with lemon zest.
