
Roast Figs with Honey

Roasted figs are delicious to simply eat alone. We also love to serve them as a garnish to salads, galantines, pâté or grilled meats. We even love these figs served over vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients:
2 lbs Fresh figs- split in half
1/2 C Spice Union Garam Masala Spice Blend
1/2 C Local honey

Preheat your oven to 375°F.

Place the figs into a large bowl.

Add 1/4 C of the local honey to the figs and toss to coat.

Liberally season the figs with the Spice Union Garam Masala Spice Blend. Toss to thoroughly coat the figs in the seasoning.

Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Place the figs onto a sheet pan (cut side up) and place into the preheated oven.

Roast the figs for about 25 minutes or just until they start to bubble.

Remove the figs from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes.

Drizzle the remaining local honey onto the figs and serve immediately.
