Smoked Prime Rib with Grilln’ & Roastn’ Spice Blend

1         ea               8-9 lb Bone-in Prime Rib Roast
3         Tbsp            Olive oil
2/3      C                 Spice Union Grilln’ & Roastn’ Spice Blend


  1. Bring the rib roast to room temperature.

  2. Preheat the smoker to 275°F.

  3. Remove the rib roast from the package and pat dry with a paper towel.

  4. Coat the entire rib roast with the olive oil.

  5. Generously season the rib roast with Spice Union Grilln’ & Roastn’ Spice Blend.

  6. Place the rib roast into the smoker, bone side down.

  7. Smoke the rib roast for 4 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 125°F.

  8. Remove the rib roast from the smoker, tent with aluminum foil and let rest for 15 minutes before cutting.
