Grilled Center Cut Pork Chops

Ingredients:
4          ea              8-10 oz Center cut pork chops

2          Tbsp          Olive oil
1/3       C               Spice Union Honey Habanero Rub

 

  1. Preheat your grill to high heat.

  2. Coat each pork chop with olive oil.

  3. Liberally season center cut pork chops with Spice Union Honey Habanero Rub.

  4. Grill over medium heat for 7-9 minutes per side or until the chops reach an internal temperature of 140°F.

  5. If the rub starts to caramelize too much, move the chops to a less hot part of the grill.

  6. Once the chops reach 140°F, remove them from the grill and allow to sit for 7minutes before cutting into the chops.

  7. Serve with your favorite side dishes, a cold beer or a nice glass of wine.

 

** For a little more Habanero heat, you can let the rub sit on the pork chop for 30 minutes before grilling.  The salt will draw water from the pork, which in turn, will bloom the Habanero.
