Grilled Shrimp with Sweet & Smoky Spice Rub


2        lbs               Peeled & deveined shrimp (size U-16                                            recommended)
8        ea                Bamboo Skewers
1/2     C                 Spice Union Sweet & Smoky Spice Rub
2        Tbsp             Olive oil
4        ea                Fresh Lemon Wedges

  1. Preheat your grill to high heat.

  2. Soak the bamboo skewers in warm water for 3-4 minutes.

  3. Skewer 5 shrimp onto each bamboo skewer.

  4. Brush the shrimp with the olive oil and season liberally with Spice Union’s Sweet & Smoky Spice Rub.

  5. Place the shrimp on the grill, over direct heat.

  6. Cook the shrimp for about 2 minutes per side.

  7. Serve with lemon wedges and for a little extra richness, drawn butter, if you like.
