Smoked Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

4       Lbs        Fresh Chicken Wings
3/4    C           Spice Union Sweet & Smoky Spice Rub

2       Tbsp      Olive oil

 

  1. Preheat your smoker to 325°F.

  2. With a knife, separate the drumettes, wingettes and tips.

  3. Pat the drumettes and wingettes dry with a cloth or paper towel and place in a large bowl.

  4. Add the olive oil and Spice Union Sweet & Smoky Spice Rub to the chicken wings.  Toss to thoroughly coat.

  5. Place the wings in the smoker, leaving a little space between each wing.

  6. Cook the wings until they reach an internal temperature of 170°F- about 45-50 minutes.

  7. You can glaze the wings with a honey & mustard mixture, garlic & maple mixture, your favorite barbeque sauce or enjoy them right out of the smoker.

  8. Serve with Ranch or Bleu Cheese dressing and a side of carrots and celery.
