Seared Tuna Loin

Ingredients:
2        ea                 8 oz Fresh Tuna loin
2        Tbsp             Coconut Oil
1/3     C                  Spice Union Ultimate Seasoning Blend

 

  1. Preheat a cast iron pan to medium high heat.

  2. Season all sides of the Tuna loin with Spice Union Ultimate Seasoning Blend.

  3. Add coconut oil to the cast iron pan.

  4. Place the Tuna loin in the pan.

  5. Adjust the heat to high heat.

  6. Cook the Tuna loin for about 1 minute on each side.

  7. Remove the Tuna loin from the pan.

  8. Slice the Tuna loin in thin slices.

  9. Serve with a light soy dipping sauce. (click here for the recipe)
