Bacon Wrapped Beef Filet
with Beef Barbeque Rub

4        ea             8 oz portions of beef filets
4        ea             Bacon slices- room temperature
1/3     C              Spice Union Beef Barbeque Rub


  1. Preheat your grill to medium high heat; with a less hot area on your grill.

  2. Season beef filets with Spice Union's Beef Barbeque Rub.

  3. Wrap each beef filet with bacon, securing the bacon with a bamboo skewer or toothpick.

  4. Place the beef filets onto the grill, directly over the heat source.

  5. Grill the beef filets for 3-4 minutes per side.

  6. Move the beef filets to the less hot area of the grill.

  7. Continue to cook the beef filets on medium heat until desired doneness. (internal temps: 120°F for rare, 130°F for med-rare, 140°F for medium)

  8. Let the beef filets rest for 3-4 minutes before cutting into them.

  9. Serve with your signature potatoes and fresh seasonal vegetables.
