Chesapeake Bay Spiced Pan Seared Scallops

1 1/2    lbs                   Fresh Sea Scallops
2          Tbsp                Butter
1/4       C                     Spice Union Chesapeake Bay Spice Blend


  1. Preheat a cast iron pan to medium high heat.

  2. Dredge the Sea Scallops in Spice Union Chesapeake Bay Spice Blend.

  3. Add butter to the cast iron pan and heat until the butter starts to foam.

  4. Place the seasoned scallops in the pan.  

  5. Cook the scallops for about 1 minute on each side or until just short of being cooked through.

  6. Serve with a side of drawn butter and lemon wedge.
